Hayden's career has risen quickly since earning an economics degree at the Flinders University of South Australia in 1996. Working at Allford Jones Financial Planning, he became a partner in the business which ultimately merged with Trilogy Financial Planning. In the last decade, Hayden is part of a new generation of financial advisers that have seen technology drive rapid change through the industry. This has coincided with an escalation in legislation and compliance, and an increase in administration which Hayden says has been offset by the development of improved systems and processes.

Unlike many other financial planning businesses, Hayden says Trilogy has been advice-driven for many years, being a far more valuable resource for clients by providing expertise and a willingness to call financial situations as he sees them for the exclusive benefit of the client. Hayden has developed a strong knowledge of SMSFs, which have been an area of particular growth in recent years.

Hayden most enjoys developing client relationships, and being completely invested in their financial well-being. He is committed to growing the Trilogy business to create a larger, more diversified client base which will not only make the business stronger but increase the collective expertise of a growing adviser team. » close
